Born in San Diego, California, he has also lived in the United Arab Emirates. In 2007, Omid competed with thousands of college age comics in the "Jimmy Kimmel College Comedy Contest" and placed 4th in the nation as voted by students all over the United States. He also received the title of "Funniest College Comic in California" securing him a spot to perform on the program "The Jimmy Kimmel Show." The "Funniest Comic in Orange County" title was also given to him from his home club, The Irvine Improv in 2008.
Today, Omid lives in New York City where he is a regular performer at "Stand Up NY" and "The Broadway Comedy Club" and opens for Christian Finnegan (VH1 Best Week Ever) and comedian Jim Gaffigan on his Beyond the Pale Tour in New York.
