Native American Comedian Jim Ruel has been described as a "Native American-Chris Rock." Jim is an enrolled member of the Ojibwe Nation and a A graduate of Stanford University. His extremely charming presence smokescreens for his sharp and witty barbs that pick apart stereotypes and misconceptions about his fellow Native Americans. "People ask me if Indians celebrate Thanksgiving?, Sure, but we call it 'You're Welcome Day!'" In addition to performing at Clubs and Colleges, Jim was the Winner of the Four Directions Talent Search, and won 1st Place in the 2004 NBC Diversity Talent Search.
