UNCLE CLYDE’S COMEDY CONTEST is a year long Comedy Contest extravaganza!!!!! Held every Wednesday
“LIVE”at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena CA There
are SIX Preliminary Rounds held throughout the year. Each preliminary
round hosts a professional Emcee, and 10 comics each performing
a six-minute set.
A Special Guest Performer or Group is invited to perform at “Half
Time” and at “Math Time” at the end of the show
while the audience votes are being tallied. At the end of each Round there is a Soup or Bowl Finals. Weekly shows are held in the Annex, Finals Shows are held in the mainroom.
WEEKLY PRIZES
1st place Weekly Winner $101 cash prize.
2nd place a Gift
certificate from Local Restaurants and Sponsors
3rd place a Huge Side of French Fries.
The 1st and 2nd place winners
from each preliminary round are invited back to perform in a Soup-Or-Bowl
Finals.
SOUP OR BOWL PRIZES
Each Soup-Or-Bowl winner receives $500.00, a Professional
Week Gig in A Professional Comedy Club and Automatic Entry into a Comedy Festival or Other Professional Gig. 2nd place winners will receive
a gift certificate from Louise’s Trattoria, and 3rd place
will be Clyde’s traditional Huge Side of FrenchFries
